BIO

Maria Manuel Serrano holds a PhD in Economic and Organizational Sociology and a Master's Degree in Socio-Organizational Systems of Economic Activity from ISEG/UL – Lisbon School of Economics and Management/University of Lisbon and a degree in Sociology from the University of Évora. She is Associate Professor at the University of Évora/School of Social Sciences/Department of Sociology and Director of the Degree in Sociology. She is integrated researcher at CICS.NOVA.UÉvora - Interdisciplinary Center of Social Sciences and collaborating researcher at SOCIUS/CSG - Center for Research in Economic and Organizational Sociology. She is sector coordinator of the UMPP - Public Policy Monitoring Unit at the University of Évora and Director of the Public Policy Portuguese Journal. She is author and co-author of several scientific publications in the fields of Economic Sociology, Organizations, Work and Employment, Innovation, Human Resources Development and Public Policies.
